As a kid, Cass Frankenstein was horrendously bullied, and he tried all sorts of things to make it stop. Nothing worked until one day, he showed up at school with new prescription sunglasses and the harassment magically ended. In fact, the sunglasses worked so well… that Cass never stopped wearing them. He’s even written a pseudo academic paper about the special advantages sunglasses give to the wearer. But even though sunglasses liberated Cass from his bullies – is it possible the shades have literally given him a darker view of the world?
